Using the Content Calendar and Editorial briefs

Use the Content Calendar to gain a clear overview of your content. Work with Editorial briefs to keep team in sync.

The content calendar:

  • Use the Content calendar to have an overview of your content marketing and their progress.
  • Now you can easily manage deadlines, assign stories to colleagues and see what everyone is working on.
  • Use the filters to narrow things down and have a clearer view of what has been posted, in draft or scheduled.
  • Easily sync the calendar to your own preferred calendar to keep track of all your stories and social
    posts.

The Editorial Brief:

  • Easily create Editorial Briefs in the calendar and assign it to your writers. Send them instructions and inform them of the goal and audience of your story.
  • Give the Editorial Brief a word limit.
  • Add images, videos or embedded rich media to your brief.

Events:

Events allow you to display and document any launch or company event to your entire team.

Filters and segments:

Type

This filter allows you to display items from a specific types: Story, Social post, or Campaign.

Status:

Content is displayed with the following statuses:

  • Draft - created but not scheduled or published yet.
  • Scheduled - finished and has a future date and time for publication.
  • Published - already sent out to that channel.

Collaborator

Filter by a user in your StoryChief account.

Campaign

Display specific campaigns and the items that are assigned to them.

Channel

This filter allows you to filter the calendar content depending to which destination an item will be published (eg. William blog, Twitter, Instagram).

Language

This filter affects only stories and appears if you have two or more languages added.
