Our last two videos have focused on the basics of Google—how the search engine’s algorithm works, and what ranking factors Google uses to decide which content to serve its users. In this video, I want to focus on one of the most important—and sometimes controversial—aspects of SEO: Keywords. I’m going to explain exactly what keywords are and why they’re so essential to SEO, and I’m going to show you a few tools you can use to start finding keywords to target with your content.
Going forward in this training, you’ll most likely want to havesome familiarity with a keyword tool, so you can practice some of the thingsI’m going to teach you.
